RESIN & APPLICATIONS
Polyvinylchloride PVC Applications: *PVC Resin K70 – k67 *Flexible PVC Compounds *Rigid PVC Compounds K67 Applications *Window and door profiles. *Pressure and Corrugated pipes. *Marble Alternative. PVC is specified for building materials and is favored by fire authorities, because of its excellent fire prevention properties. PVC is very difficult to ignite and in absence of powerful external flame, will not continue to burn.
High Density Polyethylene HDPE Applications: *Injection Moulding Grades *Blow Moulding Grades *Roto Moulding Grades *Film Grades
Polyethylene PE Applications: *Blow Molding *Blown Film *Cast Film *Injection Molding *Pipe Extrusion *Roto Molding *Tape & Monofilament
Polypropylene PP Applications: *Fiber Polypropylene Grade Polypropylene fiber, also known as polypropylene or PP, is a synthetic fiber, transformed from 85% propylene, and used in a variety of applications. It is used in many different industries, but one of the most popular is the manufacturing of carpet yarns. *Raffia Polypropylene Grade PP raffia is a packaging material made from weaving ribbons of polypropylene. It is named after the raffia palm, which the packaging emulates to some extent. Polypropylene raffia is considered to be a “widely used material for atmospheric capture”. *BOPP Film Grade Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films have become a popular, high growth film on the world market because of a unique combination of properties such as better shrinkage, stiffness, transparency, sealability, twist retention and barrier.

Special Compounds 1) XLPE Compound Cross linked polyethylene for low Voltage Cable XLPE-LV Different products with best processing and testing and ambient curing properties. XLPE is a saline cross linkable natural compound designed for low voltage power cables. The base material in combination with the catalyst Masterbatch will accelerate the moisture included crosslinking reaction. The system is highly active and crosslinks quickly in sauna or hot water. the product range covers the power and overhead applications. We also offer special grade of color Masterbatch suitable for XLPE-LV. 2) HFFR/LSZH Compound For Cables Low Smoke Flame Retardant Halogen Free LSZH/HFFR Compound Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR), Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH), Low Smoke and Fume (LSF) are all names associated with compounds that are used extensively in the cable industry. They are increasingly used as replacements for PVC and other halogenated polymers for applications where lower smoke and lower acid gas evolution are required during a fire situation. This could be in an underground or over ground railway, airport, ship, offshore rig or in any other public building or space. EGYPLAST offering different grades of sheathing and bedding application. EGYPLAST developed special Masterbatch for low smoke halogen free application compounds.
Masterbatch 1) Coloring Masterbatch Providing wide range of Masterbatches for Plastic Industry suitable for various polymers like PE, PP, PS, ABS, SAN, EVA, PVC and Others. Applications: *Extrusion *Injection Molding *Blow Molding *Roto-Molding *Thermoforming *Others.
2) Filler (CaCo3)
Calcium Carbonate CaCo3 Filler Masterbatch is a concentration of high dispersion function filling material in pellets shape, which added to Polyolefin polymers/ plastic articles during thermoforming, compounding or Extrusion to enhance the performance and decrease the cost.
3) Functional Additive MB The role of an additive Masterbatch is to improve the performance of plastic products. They can protect the product from light and heat degradation, improve optical properties and film product appearance, limit flammability in compliance with regulations, and enhance the processing ability of plastics. Our Range of Functional Additive Masterbatch Includes: Antistatic Masterbatch Processing Aid Masterbatch Slipping Masterbatch Anti-Blocking Masterbatch Anti-Microbial Masterbatch UV/ Light Stabilizer Masterbatch Infra-Red / IR Masterbatch Antioxidant Masterbatch Anti-Fog Masterbatch Mold Release Masterbatch Odor absorber Masterbatch Anti-Insect Masterbatch Oxo-Biodegradable Masterbatch Anti-Rodent Masterbatch Anti-Termite Masterbatch Clarifying Masterbatch Nucleating Masterbatch *Desiccants Desiccants are hygroscopic substances that are used to induce or sustain a state of dryness (desiccation) in its vicinity. Considered one of the uprising technologies helping in sustainability development, they can be used instead of environmentally damaging solutions like air freight or environmentally questionable pre-arrangements like oiling, VCI, over-dimensioning of packaging, etc. Using desiccants also decreases the waste due to moisture damage, CO2 emissions and the unnecessary use of resources.
BIOPLASTICS COMPOUND
Green material solution enables end-products to be biodegradable within 12 months BiONext bioplastic (shortened of biodegradable plastic) compounds are made from renewable sources such as polylactic acid (PLA) and Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), plants (corn, palm oil, potatoes) or fossil fuels such as aliphatic-aromatic co-polyester (PBAT). The biggest advantage of a bio compound is its biodegradability. Finished products made from BiONext bioplastic compounds can easily decompose after being disposed of into water, CO2 gas and biomass within 12 months. This biomass can continue to be used as agricultural fertilizer, thereby creating a completely circular life cycle for the product. This is the premise for sustainable development – when all activities from production, consumption to human waste treatment are based on the foundation of the ecosystem and are environmentally friendly. Outstanding benefits of bioplastic compound Biodegradable within 12 months after use Outstanding mechanical properties Full functions in one material Tailor-made based on end-products’ requirements
Bio Fillers
BiOMates is a biodegradable filler made from bioplastic, modified CaCO3 powder and dispersion aids. Bio filler, used as a cost-saving solution in the processing of bioplastic products. Using biofiller not only helps businesses save production costs, but also improves some properties of the finished product (increasing gloss, film hardness,…). Thereby improving the competitiveness of finished products.
